Westmount Gardens
In the estimation of a project, the total mass, the overhead clearance between floors and the total height of the building can represent an issue. This project involved the addition of two (2) stories and a new roof on an existing concrete building. The products’ choices were prestressed concrete hollow core slabs, combined with steel, for a balance between lightness and thinness of the floors. The roof was built in a traditional way using steel and joists.
